Counter-Trafficking Training for Medical Staff

On 20 July 2016 IOM Moscow conducted a specialized training for representatives of the network of Moscow clinics – health care service providers working with migrants, including victims of trafficking. The training sessions included an update information on legal aspects of migrants’ and victims’ of human trafficking access to health care services in the Russian Federation (with special focus on the Eurasian Economic Union member-states), enhancement of procedures for tuberculosis detection among migrants, including victims of human trafficking, and joint efforts on enhancement and maintaining sustainability of a mechanism of referral on the territory of Russia.
